The BIG migration has started and it shows no signs of slowing down. I’m talking about users leaving X and opening new accounts on Bluesky of course. I did so myself last week (you can follow me here) but I have to admit I haven’t gone as far as deleted my X/Twitter account… yet. Too many great tweets to save 😂
I’m wondering how it feels on the Elon side of the world…

In TikTok’s search to attract more SMBs, it’s turning to automation. The platform has now officially launched its Symphony Creative Studio globally, following a beta test period with a select group of advertisers (though how many specifically is unclear).

Facebook is making “views” its primary metric to measure the performance of content, bringing it in line with Instagram metrics. Views will be measured not just on video content but also on photos, text posts, and more.

After adding its 16 millionth user to the platform on Friday morning, social media platform Bluesky addressed concerns from the bevy of artists and content creators streaming over from X.com. The company has pledged that it has “no intention” of using their posted content to train generative AI.

After a brief delay, Meta says that it’s begun to roll out certain AI features to users of its Ray-Ban Meta AR glasses in France, Italy, and Spain. Starting today, people in those countries can invoke Meta’s AI assistant, Meta AI, using their voice to get answers to general questions (e.g. “What are some good gift ideas for my kids aged 6 and 8?”). Meta AI now supports French, Italian, and Spanish in addition to English as part of the update, Meta says.

TikTok will let advertisers pull in content from Getty Images when using the platform’s AI ad creation tool. With the integration, advertisers can use Getty’s licensed images and videos to make ads containing AI-generated content, including AI avatars that look like real people.
