Hi friend 👋🏼 and welcome to this week’s edition of “the dump.”

It’s a BIG week for us in the US: Grammy Nominations, and of course, the Elections tomorrow. There isn’t always some thing we can do to control a situation, but you can surely go vote. So please remember to vote 🗳️

Maybe the biggest headline this week comes from X as the platform went ahead with its update that now lets blocked users see all of your public posts. Scary?

Before you start clicking, I’d love if you could give TANGO a follow on LinkedIn. It’s my new venture and your support means everything. Plus, we share some amazing content that teaches the way to organic success on social. Thanks a bunch! 🙏

Have a great week!

Geoff.

X is rolling out its controversial update to the block feature, allowing people to view your public posts even if you have blocked them. People have protested this change, arguing that they don’t want blocked users to see their posts for reasons of safety. Blocked users still can’t follow the person who has blocked them, engage with their posts, or send direct messages to them.
