🎨 Meta is rolling out its AI Studio in the US for creators to build AI chatbots
Users can build the bot for caption creation, post formatting, or meme generation.

Meta also sees the AI Studio as useful for creators who want to build chatbot versions of themselves for fan engagement.
Creators can control the topics and links they want the chatbot to avoid. Plus, they can turn auto-replies off and control who their AI replies to.
“Instagram creators can set up an AI as an extension of themselves that can quickly answer common DM questions and story replies. Whether it’s sharing facts about themselves or linking to their favorite brands and past videos, creator AIs can help creators reach more people and fans get responses faster,” the company said on its blog post.
🔑 Key points:
You can use the chatbot just for yourself or share it with anyone.
These chatbots work across Meta properties, including Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and the web.

🏀 X reminds advertisers ‘there’s no substitute’ for real-time sports conversation amid competition
Few platforms are as tailor-made for the real-time thrill of sports as X. This year’s Olympic Games are set to amplify that impact even more.
Over the weekend, the Olympics racked up 17 billion impressions, 2 billion video views, and 49 million posts, according to X’s own figures.
For perspective, this year’s Super Bowl — arguably X’s top annual event — brought in 10.5 billion impressions, 1.1 billion video views, and 19.2 million posts, per X.
The platform has always marketed itself as a place for live conversation. And that’s exactly what X’s execs are emphasizing to advertisers, especially as rivals like TikTok look to posture themselves similarly.
“When it comes to real-time moments in particular around sports, there’s no substitute,” said Monique Pintarelli, head of Americas at X. “There’s no comparison to what we can deliver in terms of audience and fandom and engagement in those moments.”

🕹️ Twitch completes its TikTok makeover with new app update
The big change is that the new app will open on a feed of content you might like (a “Home” tab) instead of opening on the “Following” tab.
The change follows a lot of steps in this direction from Twitch: the company announced an initial “discovery feed” experiment in August, and it rolled the feed out to all users in April as a “Feed” tab in the mobile app.
Earlier this year, as part of his 2024 open letter, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy also discussed the company’s plans to make the discovery feed the “new landing experience in the app.”

🧠 How to enable Apple Intelligence on your iPhone
Apple is finally releasing some of the Apple Intelligence features it announced at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
However, the rollout is currently restricted to developer beta versions of iOS 18.1. and your language need to be set to U.S. English and your region is set to U.S. (This doesn’t affect your App Store regions or purchases.)
Here is how you can start using Apple Intelligence features:
Open the Settings app. Go to the Apple Intelligence & Siri menu.
Tap on the “Join the Apple Intelligence waitlist” option.
Once your waitlist position is approved, you will get a notification.
It might take a while for the system to download all models and data necessary to run Apple Intelligence. You can toggle off the Apple Intelligence feature from the menu at any point in time.
